6. Fastnacht (something like mardi gras) is very important in Saarland. Nicole is wearing the outfit of "die nassauer" a Fastnacht club in saarbrücken.
fastnacht uniforms are often Blue, Blue/white or blue/white/red because they were initially a parody of the uniforms of the French and Prussian military.
